This is number two in my series "She lives in three houses" (reclining figure) which was up for silent auction at the Heart Gala on Saturday. I was very happy to know that it was much in demand.

A woman truly lives in three houses, the one that has her head (intellect) the one that has her body (presence in her home), and the one that has her feet (in which she is revered and respected)

I have explored this theme in several paintings, and some of the women are in a standing pose, but in each one, I have the three houses.
