At the very beginning of this blog I wrote that the person of the year this year is You.

Now I am having second thoughts, especially after the senseless incident at VTech.

The person of the year is You, in context with the rest of the world, in co-ordination, cohesion and co-relation with the people around you.

People matter. Your family, your friends, your neighbors, co-workers, teachers, students, classmates, everyone matters. You cannot live alone, whether physically or in spirit.

Nor can you have the world, your world, revolve around you. You matter to others just as you do to yourself.
