Keeping my promise, one day later.

I came across an interesting book about Hex designs, the geometrical and freehand designs found on barns in Pennsylvania. The designs were fascinatingly similar to many motifs found in India. The geometrical designs were almost identical to Rangoli designs, and the birds and flowers were very similar to traditional Indian embroidery motifs.
Conclusion: It's a global village, has always been.
